Here are a couple shots of the area close to where me and my host family live in japan.
That's a black taxi. Tokyo uses older Toyota Crowns for taxis mainly. The Toyota crown was never introduced into the united states along with a bunch of other really cool cars.
Here is a pretty looking Maserati I found along with some other cool cars.
More taxis and a sidewalk... notice they are all driving on the left hand side of the road. Same thing applies to walking on the side walk. I still have to get use to that and constantly find myself getting weird looks by walking on the right side of the sidewalk like I do naturally in America.
This was a Porsche Panamera SUV with a huge wing on the back and a full carbon fiber body kit all the way around. Probably would never see those kind of mods on this car in America.
After some more walking around and taking some pictures with my phone I shot some longer exposure shots with my camera attached to a bridge with a Joby Gorrilapod. These fellers are pretty handy.
And here's the second one. Turns out the whole bridge was vibrating from someone walking on it thats why the first picture turned out kinda blurry, but still cool. Hope you enjoyed a little post about nighttime in Tokyo. I'm sure more nighttime shots/stories of Tokyo will come soon. Now I'm going to hit the perverbial hay and get some sleep for tomorrow!
